A high voltage generator is provided to control a clock frequency for operating a pump according to a pumping voltage from a charge pump, and to minimize current consumption through the high voltage generator. A high voltage generator, a clock driver(220) outputs a third and fourth clock which are reverse each other by delaying a specific one of a first clock and a second clock of which frequency is lower than that of the first clock. A charge pump(230) outputs a pumping voltage in response to the third clock and fourth clock. A first regulator(240) supplies a first regulation voltage to make the pumping voltage stable with a certain level. The clock driver delays the specific one of the first and second clock according to pumping voltage. |
