An absorption cover for a connector is provided to prevent grasping force from drastically reducing because a pressing state is lowered between the absorption cover and the connector during reflow heating with soldering. An absorption cover(1) has a long and thin rectangular shape and functions as a cover when the absorption cover is absorbed to a connector. A body of the absorption cover includes an upper unit(2), a pair of sides(3b,3c) formed in a connecting length direction toward the upper unit, and a pair of sides(3a,3d) formed in a width length direction. The upper unit and the four sides are integrally formed, and the absorption cover has square inner space formed of the upper unit and the four sides. The inner space has a shape corresponding to the appearance of the connector, and the connector is inserted into the inner space.
