Method and a system for providing operation restriction services of a mobile terminal, and a mobile terminal therefore are provided to restrict the operation of the mobile communications terminals in a specified location or the specific target through management terminal and to limit the terminal operation quickly and efficiently in case of preventing a user from using the terminal for a specific time. A mobile terminal for providing operation restriction services includes a locking control unit(230), a signal receiving unit(210), and an input unit(220). The input unit inputs an agreement signal or a password from a user and provides the signal to the locking control unit by using the keypad of the mobile terminal. The locking control unit installs a locking control application for restricting the operation of the terminal and controls the operation of the terminal according to the agreement signal and the password receiving from an operation restriction device.
