A connector and a connector connecting body are provided to expose a side plate unit of a supporting metal tool along with a section and expose a lower plate unit along with a lower surface of a socket housing, thereby improving rigidity and strength of a circumference unit of the socket housing. A socket(10) includes a socket housing(11) and a socket contact(12). The socket housing is two-dimensionally rectangular. The socket contact is mounted at a predetermined pitch along with a long side of the socket housing. The socket housing includes a circumference unit(13) and an island form unit(14). The island form unit is formed at a predetermined interval from the circumference unit. A header is inserted into an insert groove unit(15) between the circumference unit and the island form unit. The socket contact is formed by bending a strip shape metal material having predetermined thickness. An end unit bent upward from the first bending unit is bent inward to form the second bending unit. The third bending unit is bent in reverse 'U' shape in a base unit. An end side of the third bending unit is formed of a flat connecting terminal unit(12T).
