A drain pump of a frontloading washer is provided to fasten a cover pump to a pump motor easily and prevent the cover pump from separating from the pump motor by installing plural constraint ribs on the cover pump. A drain pump of a frontloading washer comprises a pump motor(40) and a cover pump(50). The cover pump is screwed to the pump motor to prevent entering of water into the pump motor. The cover pump is fastened to the pump motor via a constraint rib. The constraint rob is composed of front and rear constraint ribs(51) formed on the front side of the cover pump, left and right constraint ribs(52) formed on the left and right sides of the cover pump, and upper and lower constraint ribs(53) formed on the upper side of the cover pump.
