A language study system using 2-dimensional bar codes is provided to play data of newspapers or magazines by recognizing 2D bar codes thereof, wherein contents corresponding to the 2D bar codes are played as soon as downloaded when stored contents lacks. A language study system using 2-dimensional bar codes includes a memory part(240) for storing 2D bar code recognition programs and contents, an image sensing part for sensing images of the 2D bar codes, a key input part(250) for user's command input for capturing the images, and a CODEC(210) converting the captured image to digital signals. A main controller(270) extracts predetermined contents from the stored contents by digital signal analysis and outputs the extracted contents simultaneously with the images and sound via an output part, which has an LCD unit and a sound output part. An external input/output terminal(280) is connected to an external device for the download of the contents under the control of the main controller. The main controller controls the storing of the 2D bar codes sensed by the image sensing part and the contents received via the external input/output terminal. |
