A tilt and telescope device for a steering column is provided to increase supporting force and operating feeling by pressing inclination members by inclined parts. A tilt and telescope device for a steering column comprises an outer tube(310), an inner tube(320), an upper bracket(330), a lever(304), guide members(370), inclination members(380), and friction providing units(350). A steering shaft(302) is installed in the outer tube. The upper bracket has a tilt bracket(332) which is formed with long holes. The guide member has one side which is formed with a guide hole, and two sides which are formed with end protrusions. The inclination members are formed with insertion holes communicating with the guide holes and formed with inclined surfaces having predetermined angles. The friction providing units are formed with inclined parts(354) which are contacted with the inclined surfaces.
