A dike for water purification of rivers is provided to be constructed in the appointed size at the bottom of a river, to clean and purify a river by separating occasionally using a simple device, and to purify water continuously and repeatedly for a long term by assembling simply. A dike for water purification of rivers is formed by forming a fixed plane in the appointed width across a riverbed from one side of a river and fixing upper, lower walls(13') formed to be projected from upper and lower edges, and forming a water inflow port and a water outflow port(12) on the upper and lower walls at regular intervals and forming a water purification section(35) between the upper and lower walls, wherein water purification blocks are piled up closely in the water purification section, and middle-sized gravel, new gravel and new sand are filled in the water flow direction, so that water entering the water inflow port of the upper wall purifies through the water purification blocks, then flows out to the water outflow port of the lower wall. |
