Provided is a water purifying apparatus which can be used even on a relatively small place, to which contaminants are not adhered well, and which is excellent in safety by preventing the apparatus from being damaged and preventing the user from feeling a pain even when the apparatus is fallen or brought into contact with a body of a user. A water purifying apparatus(10) comprises: a water purifier(13) having a water inlet(13v) and a water outlet(13w); a casing(11) in which the water purifier is removably received in a state that the water inlet and the water outlet of the water purifier are exposed in the vertical lower direction; and a holding member(12) fixed to the wall surface to attach the casing removably to the surface of a wall, wherein an external form of the casing is formed in an approximately rugby ball shape, the entire outer surface of the casing is formed as a smooth continuous curved surface, and an outer surface of the holding member is coated with a coating comprising silver ions having the sterilizing function.
