METHOD OF DISPLAYING A DYNAMIC CURSOR IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND THE MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL THEREOF

A mobile terminal and a method for displaying a dynamic cursor therein are provided to show the progress of a specific application to the user visually and emotionally by displaying a dynamic cursor on a screen related to a new task in case the new task is executed while the specific application is in progress. If the user of a mobile terminal selects a multimedia menu, a control part displays a multimedia menu screen. If the user selects an MP3 player menu on the displayed multimedia menu screen, the control part enters MP3 player mode and displays an MP3 file list. If the user selects a desired MP3 file and makes a request to regenerate the selected MP3 file, the control part regenerates the MP3 file while displaying a regeneration screen(310). At this moment, if the user makes a request to access message mode, the control part enters message mode and displays a message menu list(320). In this case, the message menu list is displayed in foreground, and the MP3 file is regenerated in background.
