FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: wheel is made up of inter and outer rims interconnected by flexible elements arranged in two rows. The flexible polyurethane spokes feature a variable thickness smoothly decreasing from the edges to the center. The spoke section along its width represents a circular or a half-moon shape. Together with aforesaid rims, the spokes form a ring-like outline in the wheel crosswise plane. The inner rim is arranged on a metal drum to be used as a braking drum and represents a part of a casting mold in wheel fabrication. ^ EFFECT: higher manufacturability, smaller weight and lateral stiffness. ^ 4 dwg
