A slim type overhead switch is provided to reduce a maintenance cost by exchanging a vacuum circuit breaker easily, when an electrical error occurs. A slim type overhead switch includes a movable body(310), a movable sub bushing(320), a fixing body(330), a fixing sub body(340), a current transformer(350), a vacuum circuit breaker(360), and a lifter(370). The movable body has a plurality of protrusion units for expanding an insulated distance. The movable sub bushing is inserted into an outer circumference plane of a movable bushing. The fixing body is covered by a body case. A rear plane of the fixing body is coupled to a rear plane of the movable body. The fixing sub bushing is inserted into an outer circumference plane of a fixing bushing. The current transformer is coupled to an upper front plane of the movable body or an upper front plane of the fixing body. The vacuum circuit breaker is inserted into an insertion unit of the movable body, and is adhered by a fixing cover which seals the insertion unit of the vacuum circuit breaker. The lifter is rotatably fixed on the fixing cover, and lifts to rotate a rotation link member coupled to an end of the vacuum circuit breaker.
