<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium having imaging properties being a photographic paper level for a silver salt photograph, excellent in high ink absorbing properties, light resistance and water resistance after printing, and having no cracking. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording medium is manufactured by providing a lower layer and an upper layer on an air-permeable substrate and performing cast processing, and the inkjet recording medium has the lower layer formed of a coating composition comprising a water absorbing inorganic pigment, a latex, boric acid or its salt and a cationic resin having a five-membered heterocyclic structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
