<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-ride type fuel cell powered vehicle capable of reducing an entire length while keeping an appropriate weight balance in a vehicle body forward and backward direction. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell 30 formed into an approximately rectangular shape is inclined backward of a vehicle body from a condition that its longitudinal direction is directed upward and downward, and is arranged below a seat 18, on which a driver 100 sits, and a pivot shaft 13 swingably journalling a swing arm 11 is arranged in a range X before a peak point P and after a peak point Q of a rectangle 30H seen from a side of the fuel cell 30, and in a range Y below the peak point P and above the peak point Q. A footrest 19, on which the driver 100 put legs at the time of riding, is installed between a steering handle 5 and the seat 18. The fuel cell 30 is arranged on a rear side of the vehicle body of the footrest 19 so that a position of a center of gravity G1 of the fuel cell 30 is positioned at a center G2 of a seating part in a forward and backward direction of a seating part 18a, on which the driver sits at the time of riding, i.e., nearer a vehicle body front side than a center of gravity of the driver 100 at the time of riding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
