<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of vehicle which can be charged externally while suppressing vibration. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of vehicle includes a charging system generating a voltage for charging an energy storage device from an external power supply by utilizing the stator coil of a motor generator MG2 for driving the wheels 2, an inverter 30 for driving the motor generator MG2, and a controller 60 for designating the inverter 30 to adjust the rotor position of the motor generator MG2 to a position suitable for the stator coil during charging in response to a parking designation of vehicle.
