<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a penetration blocking refractory belt material easy in work execution, usable for many purposes and effective in fire prevention. <P>SOLUTION: In the refractory strip for blocking a through-hole, a refractory strip main body 1 is formed by putting a fireproof material 3 into a bag and then wounded around an insert 4 penetrating a through-hole 6 on a wall 5 to block up the through-hole 6. A long main body 1A containing a fireproof material 3 in a long bag 2a long enough to wind at least a time around the entire circumference of an insert 4, and short length adjustment parts 1b and 1c each containing the fireproof materials 3 in short bags 2b and 2c shorter than the long bag 2a are provided.
