<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain thinning of a device mounted with a camera module thereon, regarding a camera module which is mounted on the device such as a portable terminal device with a camera function, and a mounting structure therefor. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding a camera module which is mounted on the device such as a portable terminal device comprising a camera function, a mounting structure therefor and the device, a panel (14) is integrally provided which covers a lens barrel part (26) and exposes it from a window part (10) of a housing (front side housing part 6) of the device. A manufacturing method of the device includes a step of fitting the camera module which integrally includes the panel, into the housing. It is not necessary to install the panel at the housing side of the device separately from the camera module, and thinning of the device is attained. Furthermore, since the camera module is protected by the panel, the intrusion or deposition of a foreign matter into or on the lens barrel part and the occurrence of damage or the like can be prevented, and handling of the camera module is facilitated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
