<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a drive controller of an AC motor having a configuration for switching a control mode in which the control mode is switched appropriately without causing unstable operation of the AC motor. <P>SOLUTION: Control mode switching judgment is performed as part of main loop (control period Tm) unifying the whole AC motor control. Control period Tc during rectangular wave voltage control mode is shorter than the execution period (Tm) of control mode switching decision. When switching from the rectangular wave voltage control mode to PWM control mode is decided, alteration of voltage phase of the rectangular wave voltage is forbidden from a control mode switching decision timing (time t0) to the next execution time of main loop or the actual switching timing of control mode (time t1), thus maintaining the voltage phase of rectangular wave voltage upon control mode switching decision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
