PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering system capable of achieving a natural steering feeling in the case of a failure of a toe angle changing device for changing toe angles of rear wheels. SOLUTION: The steering system has a damper table N52a1 referred to when the toe angle changing device 120 is normal, a damper table A52a2 referred to in the case of a toe-in failure of the toe angle changing device 120 and a damper table B52a3 referred to in the case of a toe-out failure. When the toe angle changing device 120 is normal, the damper table N52a1 is referred to for setting a damping compensation value I. In the case of the toe-in failure of the toe angle changing device 120, the damper table A52a2 is referred to for setting the damping compensation value I, and in the case of the toe-out failure of the toe angle changing device 120, the damper table B52a3 is referred to for setting the damping compensation value I.
