PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keeping method which keeps a conjugated diene polymer modified by an aminoalkoxysilane compound or the like and is excellent in the viscosity characteristics of the polymer. SOLUTION: In the keeping method of the conjugated diene polymer, the conjugated diene polymer having a monomer unit based on conjugated diene and a group represented by the formula (I) is packaged by a film with a thickness of 30-150μm and a moisture permeability of 0.7 g/m<SP>2</SP>×day or below to be kept. In the formula (I), R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each independently a hydrocarbon group, a hydrocarbon oxy group or a hydroxyl group, m is an integer of 0-10 and A<SP>1</SP>is a polar functional group having no active hydrogen.
