摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the driving lane of a vehicle without being affected by the driving environment, the driver's intention, or the configuration of the road. SOLUTION: An information processing part 1 selects a vehicle as the subject of determination from other vehicles whose vehicle speeds are no less than a set vehicle speed and which travel on a road where a plurality of driving lanes exist according to road map information, and for which inter-vehicle communication is established. When the subject of determination is in a state in which it is turning while driving, the turning radius of the subject of determination is computed on the basis of its driving condition; the turning radius is compared with a preset threshold value to determine the driving lane. When the subject of determination is in a state in which it travels straight, the position coordinates of the subject of determination are subjected to coordinate transformation based on the distribution of previous vehicle positions where vehicles traveled on the driving lane; the values of the position coordinates subjected to the coordinate transformation are compared with a preset threshold value to determine the driving lane.
