PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container which is attached detachably to a liquid jet apparatus and can facilitate attachment and detachment working to the liquid jet apparatus even when it is attached to the liquid jet apparatus in a parallel state to the other liquid container formed longer in insertion-removal direction at the time of attachment and detachment than the liquid container. SOLUTION: A short ink cartridge 22A is attached detachably to a cartridge holder of an ink-jet printer, and is equipped with a handle part 34 which compensates for a length in the insertion-removal direction (front-rear direction) at the time of attachment and detachment to the cartridge holder for a long ink cartridge 22B.
