PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology allowing easy extraction of a difference between road line shapes regardless of a description form of a linear element constituting the road linear shape. SOLUTION: A difference extraction part 3 of this road line shape management device 1 extracts the difference between an existing road line shape and a new road line shape by use of coordinates of a representative point set on a graphic expressed by an existing line element about each of a plurality of the existing line elements constituting the existing road line shape, and coordinates of a representative point set on a graphic expressed by a new line element about each of a plurality of the new line elements constituting the new road line shape.
