PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person-tracking system capable of converting animation information into easily analyzable information, regarding the person-tracking system. SOLUTION: An image input section 31 of a PC 3 converts analog animated image data photographed by a camera 1 into digital data, and an operation processing section 32 calculates a location of a person from the image data converted by the image input section 31 as a deviated angle (angle) between a reference direction and a straight line (horizontal, right direction) connecting a coordinate position and the center of an image, and a distance (pixel) from the center of an image. Movement of the person is calculated as an angle from the reference direction of velocity vector between the current coordinate position and a coordinate position at the next time (may also be the previous time) and the length of the vector (pixel). The information calculated by the operation processing section 32 is memorized in a database 33 comprising a memory medium such as a hard disk, and is plotted on a tracking space in which a horizontal axis is set up as an angle and a vertical axis is set up as a whereabouts distance and moving amount.
