PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens apparatus which is easily assembled, free from causing a ghost flare and deterioration in optical performance and hence can provide a high quality image, and also can be made compact as a whole. SOLUTION: The lens apparatus includes a lens 1 and a fixed diaphragm member 3 where a diaphragm hole 2 of a prescribed size defining the effective diameter of the lens 1 is pierced. The lens apparatus is characterized in that: the outside diameter of the lens 1 is set so as to correspond to the inside diameter of the diaphragm opening 2; and the lens 1 is fitted into the diaphragm hole 2 while making the outer peripheral edge of the reflection surface 6 of the lens 1 on which a light flux from the object side is made incident flush with one surface on the object side of the fixed diaphragm member 3 or while positioning the lens closer to the side of the other surface than the one surface on the object side.
