PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fall-off of rollers with easy work when assembling a thrust cylindrical roller bearing where columnar portions of a cage are unevenly protruded from inner and outer peripheral rings. SOLUTION: On the opposite side to the axial end face of the inner and outer peripheral rings 2, 3 of a cage body 1, from which the columnar portions 4 are protruded, a separate auxiliary holder 11 is connected which has a plurality of auxiliary columnar portions 14 for holding the rollers 21 stored in pockets 5, from the opposite sides to the columnar portions 4 with respect to the roller center at the spaces which are each smaller than a roller diameter. This prevents the fall-off of the rollers 21 with easy work when assembling the thrust cylindrical roller bearing where the columnar portions 4 of the cage are protruded in a stepped manner from the inner and outer peripheral rings 2, 3.
