An electrical status display in maritime switch gear is disclosed, in particular relating to the field of power supply to ship containers by means of switchable container plug sockets. In the multiphase electrical assembly of the container plug socket, made up of the measuring and check points for input voltage, power switch and output voltage, the electrical status of each of the phases at the measuring and check points is sampled by single phase, processed and optically and optionally acoustically displayed.
