<p>A method, an apparatus, and a system for allocating radio resources in an MMR(Mobile Multi-hop Relay) system are provided to allocate radio resources efficiently through load balancing by transmitting BS(Base Station)-to-MS(Mobile Station) traffic to an MS by means of the radio resources of a BS-to-RS(Relay Station) section in case the BS-to-MS traffic is larger than the radio resources of a BS-to-MS section. If BS-to-MS traffic, which will be transmitted to an MS through a BS-to-MS section, is generated, a BS allocates the BS-to-MS traffic to the BS-to-MS section(S410). At this moment, the BS confirms whether the BS-to-MS traffic is larger than the radio resources of the BS-to-MS section(S420). If the BS-to-MS traffic is larger than the radio resources of the BS-to-MS section, the BS checks the radio resources of a BS-to-RS section and confirms whether redundant radio resources exist at the BS-to-RS section(S430). If no redundant radio resource exists, the BS allocates the rest of the BS-to-MS traffic, which remains after being allocated to the BS-to-MS section, to the BS-to-MS section of the next frame(S440). However, in case redundant radio resources exist, the BS allocates the remaining traffic to the redundant radio resources and transmits it to the MS through the BS-to-RS section(S450).</p> |
