Dioxypyrrolo-heteroaromatic compounds are provided to be used as an organic semiconductor having electrochemical stability and easily showing n type of p type properties depending on properties of an introduced substituent, and produce an organic electronic device with high charge mobility and stability. Dioxypyrrolo-heteroaromatic compounds represented by the formula(1) are useful as an organic semiconductor, wherein W and Y are each independently a radical represented by the formula(2); and X and Z is each independently -CA^1=CA^2-; -C=C-; arylene group with substituted R^2; or heteroarylene group with substituted R^2; E^1 and E^2 are each independently hydrogen atom, halogen atom, aryl group, heteroaryl group, -Sn(R'R"R'")a, -B(OR')(OR"), -CH2Cl, -CHO, -CH=CH2, -SiR'R"R'" or C1-C20 linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group optionally substituted by F, Cl, Br, I or CN; w is 0 or 1, x is 0 or 1, y is 0 or 1, z is 0 or 1 and a sum of w, x, y and z is 1, and n is an integer from 1 to 10,000.
