<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a desired apparatus among a plurality of apparatuses as the object of monitoring. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming system for remotely monitoring and operating a plurality of copying machines from a remote operation terminal, any one of a plurality of copying machines is accessed from the Web browser of a remote operation terminal, and an object copying machine displayed on the display part of the remote operation terminal is registered for the copying machine.
