<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing with a bidirectional communication function capable of communicating bidirectionally between a rotating side and a fixed side, reducing the number of components, improving designing freedom, communicating during rotation and non-rotation, facilitating wiring, and having no problem in increasing friction for communication. <P>SOLUTION: Double row rolling elements 5 are interposed between an outer member 1 being a fixed ring and an inner member 2 being a rotating ring. A bidirectional communication means 21 is provided for bidirectionally communicating in a non-contact state between the outer member 1 and the inner member 2. The bidirectional communication means 21 includes, for example, a primary coil 22 installed in the fixed ring, and a secondary coil 24 installed in the rotating ring, and transmits electric power and data by electromagnetic induction by applying AC currents. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
