PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast wave reception system 1, or the like capable of improving performance in diversity or adaptive reception in a broadcast wave receiver 14b. SOLUTION: A software radio 16b that is connected to the broadcast wave receiver 14b and enables communication between vehicles and a vehicle-to-vehicle communication section 18b connected to the software radio 16b are installed at the side of a vehicle 10b. The same installation is also performed at the side of a vehicle 10a. A radio processing section 16b-2 of the software radio 16b merges a radio signal RF of broadcast waves R subjected to diversity or adaptive reception by the broadcast wave receiver 14b, and a signal that is the radio signal RF of the same broadcast waves R subjected to diversity or adaptive reception by the broadcast wave receiver 14a of other on-vehicle devices 10a driving in parallel and is transmitted by vehicle-to-vehicle communication com-ab from other vehicles 10a for diversity or adaptive reception processing.
