PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an image in which a person can properly be recognized and noise and blurring of the image are reduced. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus includes a visible light imaging part for continuously imaging a plurality of visible light images of an object by visible light, a timing predicting part for predicting timing of the object included in the plurality of visible light images to fit a predetermined condition on the basis of timing of the plurality of visible light images to be respectively imaged and image contents of the plurality of visible light images, and an infrared imaging part for imaging an infrared image of the object by infrared light at the timing predicted by the timing predicting part.
