PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external operation handle device satisfying isolation without depending on characteristics of a switch combined with it. SOLUTION: This external operation handle device is provided with: a first rotary member engaged with a toggle-type handle of a switch incorporated in a control panel or the like; a rotary handle part projected from the control panel to be manually operated from the front surface of the control panel; and a second rotary member operatively connected with the rotation of the rotary handle part. The first and second rotary member are structured to be operated in response to each other and to make rotating centers thereof different from each other; and the first and second rotary members are structured not to be fitted to each other by a normal switching operation by the rotary handle part, and to be fitted to each other only when a load in an off-direction of the rotary handle part is applied upon deposition of a main contact of the switch.
