PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device which is excellent in installation, in which moreover attaching and removing of a recording medium are easy. SOLUTION: In a control device provided with medium storage devices 15, 17 in which insertion holes 16, 18 for recording medium and a connector part 21 for external device are arranged separately at both side planes of a small case 10 in which breadth size is smaller than height size and depth size is smaller than this breadth size, and which enables recording and reproducing of data for a recording medium being attachable and detachable in this case 10, an internal storage device 22, and a mother board 23 performing generalized control of this control device, the case 10 is divided to a front case 24 provided with the medium storage devices 15, 17 and a rear case 25 provided with the mother board 23 and the internal storage device 22, such appearance structure is made that the front case 24 is deviated to an upper part for the rear case 25, air inlet and exhaustion opening 31 is provided at a case plane facing to spaces 26, 27 formed at upper and lower ends of the case 10 by forming the front case 24 deviating to the upper part, and the insertion holes 16. 17 are provided at a side plane of the front case 24.
