PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device designed so that a projection area where an image is projected can be moved as required, by freely moving the image projection device attached to a screen. SOLUTION: The image projection device includes a light source and a projecting section that projects images by using light irradiated from the light source. This device is attached to the screen to which the images are projected. In the image projection device, a recess part is formed from the bottom of the image projection device to the position of its gravity center or to an area near the gravity center so as to engage with the upper edge of the screen. A power source circuit that supplies power to the light source and projecting section is provided. The power source circuit is disposed behind the screen instead of the recessed part. The projecting section is disposed in front of the surface side of the screen instead of the recessed part. The reflecting mirror of the projecting section that projects images onto the screen is disposed so as to freely move forward or backward relative to the screen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
