PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caisson cutting-edge section excavator by which excavating work is automated, and the earth can be excavated highly efficiently. SOLUTION: The caisson cutting-edge section excavator comprises: a carriage 3 for turning along a guide rail 2 fixed to a caisson 1 near a cutting-edge section 1a and along the inner periphery of the caisson 1 in a manner of extending around; and a submerged load header 20 elevatably fitted in the carriage 3 for turning to excavate the ground near the cutting-edge section 1a. The submerged load header 20 is swingably fitted to a linear guide 21, which is an elevation mechanism. While the carriage 3 for turning is turned along the guide rail 2, the submerged load header 20 is swung to perform excavation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
