PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive heat resisting material for a fire compartment, which enables fireproof measures to be rapidly taken without the need for skills, and a fireproof measure construction method for a fireproof-section penetrating section. SOLUTION: This putty-like and block-like heat resisting material A for use in the closing of an annular gap C of a fireproof measure location B is formed as a trapezoidal columnar body, the upside 2 of which is shorter than its base 1, and the one lateral side 3 of which is perpendicular or approximately perpendicular.
