PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate feeding device automatically discharging a slip sheet and a pad cardboard although the device is simply configured. SOLUTION: This plate feeding device includes: a storage section 10 for loading a plurality of plates together with the slip sheet and pad cardboard; a sensor for discriminating which one of the plate P, slip sheet and pad cardboard is positioned in the uppermost part of the storage section 10; a plate conveying mechanism 14 for conveying the plate P and pad cardboard from the storage section; a slip sheet conveying mechanism 15 for conveying the slip sheet from the storage section 10; a conveyor for conveying the plate P or the pad cardboard received from the plate conveying mechanism 14 to a post-stage processing section or a pad cardboard discharging section; and a control section for conveying the plate P and the pad cardboard respectively to the post-stage processing section and the pad cardboard discharging section by controlling the conveyor based on an identifying signal from the sensor.
