METHOD FOR PRODUCING ELECTRODE SLURRY FOR LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY

Disclosed is a method for producing an electrode slurry which is used for producing a lithium ion secondary battery having high capacity and excellent charge/discharge cycle characteristics. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing an electrode slurry for lithium ion secondary batteries, which contains an electrode active material, a carboxymethyl cellulose, a binder and water. In this method, an electrode slurry is produced by the following steps (1)-(3) using two kinds of carboxymethyl celluloses having different aqueous solution viscosities. (Step 1) A step for preparing an aqueous solution (A') by dissolving a carboxymethyl cellulose having a lower viscosity in water (Step 2) A step for preparing a mixture (A'') by mixing the aqueous solution (A') with the electrode active material (Step 3) A step for mixing a carboxymethyl cellulose having a higher viscosity and a binder
