A sensor reading device for a tire air-pressure monitoring system is provided to read out information of a TPMS sensor by detecting location of the TPMS sensor and moving an antenna to the TPMS sensor by moving lower, center, and upper plates. A sensor reading device for a tire air-pressure monitoring system comprises a lower plate(1), a center plate(3), and an upper plate(5), a vertical cylinder(7), a horizontal cylinder(9), a rotation motor(19), a rotation plate(41), antennas(43), and a vision camera(45). The lower plate has vertical rails(11) on an upper surface in a lengthwise direction. The center plate slides along the vertical rails on the lower plate and has horizontal rails(15) thereon. The upper plate slides along the horizontal rails on the center plate. The vertical cylinder is fixed to one center of the lower plate and has an operation rod(21) whose one end is connected with a bottom center of the center plate. The horizontal cylinder is fixed to the other center of the center plate and has an operation cylinder whose one end is connected with a bottom center of the upper plate. The rotation motor is mounted on a frame unit laid on the upper plate. The rotation plate is fixed to a rotation shaft(35) of the rotation motor. The antenna is mounted on the rotation plate and receives ID information of a TPMS sensor wireless. The vision camera is located next to the center of the rotation plate and senses a wheel tire and location of the TPMS sensor and then outputs the signal to a controller.
