摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a charge-discharge cycle characteristic by preventing separation of a negative electrode active material body from a surface of a collector, in a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery with a plurality of negative electrode active material bodies containing silicon oxide formed on a collector. <P>SOLUTION: This negative electrode 100 for a lithium secondary battery is provided with the collector 1, and the plurality of negative electrode active material bodies 5 arranged on the collector 1 by being spaced apart from one another, and containing silicon oxide. In the negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery, a plurality of first projecting parts 2A supporting the plurality of negative electrode active material bodies 5 are arranged on a surface of the collector 1; each first projecting part 2A has a plurality of projecting parts 2B each having a height smaller than that of the first projecting part 2A; the average value of a molar ratio of the quantity of oxygen to that of silicon of each negative electrode active material body 5 is 0.1-1.2; and the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the molar ratio of the quantity of oxygen to that of silicon in the vicinity of an interfacial surface between each negative electrode active material body 5 and the collector 1 is not larger than 0.4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
