<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing device capable of speedily forming an exposure pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The drawing device is provided with a raster conversion processing means 2 of converting a wiring pattern as a vector image into a bit map image, an image cache means 4 of temporarily storing a cache image of predetermined size input from the raster conversion processing means 2, a first compressing means 9 of comprising the cache image stored in the image cache means 4, a second compressing means 10 of compressing the cache image, stored in the image cache means 4 with compressibilities different from that of the first compressing means 9, a comparing means 11 of comparing the data sizes of the compressed data generated by the first compressing means 9 and second compressing means 10 with each other and selecting compressed data of smaller data size, a memory access means 6 of writing the compressed data selected by the comparing means 11 in a storage means 5, and a cache area managing means 7 of managing the compression state of the cache image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
