<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which suppresses color from being changed when a developer 28 is recovered into a developing unit. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 4 is provided with: image carriers 11BK, 11Y, 11C and 11M; a plurality of developing units 10BK, 10Y, 10C and 10M provided to correspond to the developers different from each other in color; transfer means 12BK, 12Y, 12C and 12M transferring the developers formed on the image carriers 11BK, 11Y, 11C and 11M by the developing units 10BK, 10Y, 10C and 10M to a belt 2; and a CPU 30 executing recovery processing for recovering at least one color developer transferred to the belt 2 into the developing unit 10M corresponding to the other color developer having an electrostatic charge amount per unit quantity larger than that of the one color developer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
