<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of threshold voltage correction operation by suppressing coupling which occurs at the time of switching of a sampling transistor. <P>SOLUTION: The threshold voltage correction operation includes: an initializing step of setting a voltage Vgs between a source and a gate of a drive transistor Trd to a voltage higher than a threshold voltage to turn on the drive transistor Trd, while keeping the gate of the drive transistor Trd at a reference potential; a power supply step of supplying power to the drive transistor Trd with the gate kept at the reference potential to hold a voltage corresponding to the threshold voltage generating between the gate and the source in response to cut-off of the drive transistor, in a holding capacity Cs; and a stabilizing step of making a control signal fall and turning off a sampling transistor Tr1 and disconnecting the gate of the drive transistor Trd from a signal line SL and giving a gradient to a level of the reference potential on the signal line SL in accordance with the fall of the control signal to suppress the potential variation of the gate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
