<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic printer and an electrophotographic printing method which achieve printing of a high-quality printed matter by suppressing surface foggings. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic printer includes: a photoreceptor 11 where electrified toner is stuck to the line part of an electrostatic latent image formed on its surface by a developing device 12; a toner removal device 14 which attracts and conveys carrier by magnetic force and also to which predetermined potential is applied so that electric field from the non-line part of the electrostatic latent image may be formed; and a toner separating device 71 which separates toner from the carrier attracted and conveyed by the toner removal device 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
