<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer storage body capable of suppressing unevenness of density of an image by satisfactorily dispersing toner within a developing chamber. <P>SOLUTION: An agitator 200 includes: a rotary shaft 201 rotatable within a storage chamber AR; a feeding blade 205b extending out in the radial direction of the rotary shaft 201; and an agitating blade 204b disposed while being shifted from the feeding blade 205b in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 201 and extending outside of the rotary shaft 201. A wall (cylindrical wall 101) forming the storing chamber AR has a supply port 103 for supplying developer to the outside and a return port 104 for allowing return of developer from the outside. The feeding blade 205b is constituted such that a distance from the rotary shaft 201 to the leading edge of the feeding blade 205b is longer than a distance from the rotary shaft 201 to the leading edge of the stirring blade 204b.
