<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which ensures a stable ball hitting direction and yardage over a wider range. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head has a face part 12 with a golf ball hitting surface formed on its front, the top part 14, the sole part 16, the toe part 18 and the heel part 20 and a face member 28 forming the face part 12 is supported with a body member 30 from behind. The face member 28 has a flexible part 13 for linking a weight addition part 34 to the top side rim part 12a of the face part 12 at the top part 14 so that the body member 30 is linked to the rear part of the flexible part 13 to integrally connect the weight addition part 34 to at least one of the body member 30 and the flexible part 13. A face side groove 42 and a top side groove 40 extending separately in the toe-heel direction are formed respectively between the weight addition part 34 and the face part 12 and between the weight addition part 34 and the flexible part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
