BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYESTER FILM FOR IN-MOLDING TRANSFER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film for in-mold transfer which suppresses the occurrence of mold rust and is capable of minute printing.

SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polyester film is obtained by a coextrusion method and contains an antistatic agent in an amount of 0.1-10 wt.% of a polyester which is contained in a layer composing at least one side of the film and composes the layer. The birefringent index (Δn) of the film is 0.040 or below. A coating layer is formed on at least one side of the film.
