PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a hologram excellent in a design property and a security property in a simple method. SOLUTION: A computer generated hologram 1 having amplitude information and phase information recorded on a predetermined recording surface and having parallax in perpendicularly crossing two-dimensional directions is produced by computer operations. The computer generated hologram 1 is irradiated with first reproducing illumination light 3 to reproduce a first reproduced image O' from the hologram 1 and a hologram recording material 21 is disposed near the first reproduced image O' to record the first reproduced image O' as a reflection type or transmission type volume hologram 21.
